We all know that 15th  August is celebrated as the independence day of India, but do you know that it is also celebrated as the independence day of another country???

15th August is celebrated as the national liberation day ( independence day) of South Korea, the land of the morning calm. This day is celebrated as a mark of freedom from the hands of Japan.

On this day in the year of 1945 the koreans got  freedom from Japan with the help of U.S and Soviet forces.
